2025 Konzen Marital Intensive (August 17 - 23, 2025)
This is the version of The Art of Intimate Marriage for couples in a small group format in an intensive schedule. An intensive schedule means covering all the material in a weekong format rather than weekly or in large groups. Intensives allow for a lot of work in a short time.
Based on: Graduated Intimacy - A step-by-step evidenced-based experiential marital sex therapy intervention for couples to gradually increase relational and sexual intimacy grounded in Christian principles. For many strong, stable couples, the marital or sexual relationship can be full of pain, frustration, disappointment, and sadness. This intervention provides a roadmap for couples to reach a new experience of intimacy.

Private and Individual
Couples Intensive
Located in beautiful San Diego
This version of an intensive is for couples who live outside of California and want to see Dr. Konzen for a weeklong, private intensive. The schedule is commonly 10 hours of therapy over 5 days, 2 hours each day. The couple determines the focus of the intensive. Couples commonly use the intensive version of therapy for help with various issues, including: recovery from an affair; issues with long-term addiction; questions about whether to continue in a marriage; sexual challenges that need professional care, etc. Though these are common reasons couples might schedule an intensive, some couples schedule an intensive merely to strengthen an already solid relationship.
Transportation and Lodging: Couples provide their own transportation to and around San Diego and their own accommodations.
Location: The Center for Sexuality Office is located in Rancho Penasquitos, in the north inland area of San Diego County.
