"Jennifer ... helped us to be at ease about this sensitive topic, and shared it in an engaging, honest, vulnerable, and humorous manner... I was able to learn how to help couples who were unfaithful in their relationships, as well as learn how to educate my children about sexuality in a respectful way."

"Jennifer's passion for her work instantly shows through... Jennifer has taught me to invite my clients, their spouses, their families and their faith communities into connection and understanding of their sexuality. This invitation is a refreshing alternative to regressing into fear with clear, detailed discussion about intimacy, eroticism and sexuality. Her book, The Art of Intimate Marriage: A Christian Couple's Guide to Sexual Intimacy is an indispensable referral to many of my Christian clients. Her trainings are an important resource to therapists local and across the United States.

For many years, I have been interested in pursuing specialized training in sexuality but found it was difficult to locate reliable courses that were also spiritually grounded. Dr. Konzen provides both biblically astute and scientifically apprised training and is deeply committed to practical applications that include medically informed approaches. Dr. Konzen’s model of therapy is both evidence-based and full of useful tools that can be immediately put into practice in session. I have benefited tremendously from training at the Center for Sexuality and would recommend Dr. Konzen’s courses to both training therapists and experienced therapists alike.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
